And I have a fleeting suspicion that Top Gear UK may not last more than a few more years. This is sad.
Somehow, some way... The Jalopnik staff should take over Top Gear. Then i would watch.

I'm not going to address the Top Gear UK/US debate, you seem to think that they are the same show.
With regards to TGUK not lasting, you are very wrong there.

No, I am fully aware the TGUS is just another crop of History Channel meh. Of course I hope they keep UK going, as does plenty of the world, but nothign gold can stay! I had no idea the US/UK debate was so heated... I never expected such flak for an opinion. My main point was simply that I think individuals like those at Jalopnik would make for a much more humorous, clever, and informational show. I love the US concept, just never could connect with the hosts.

TG will air for a long time, but the show went to shit a few years ago.
